Issue Irradiation Certificate

Irradiation is the dose deliver of reference value as determined by the secondary standards dosimetry laboratory within the lab scope of activity to the customer’s passive dosimeters. The irradiation values are reported in the irradiation certificate. Irradiation is essential to ensure the passive dosimeters are recording and monitoring the radiation workers accurately, which are used throughout the UAE to support radiation protection. The secondary standards dosimetry laboratory (SSDL) irradiation services are accredited by the Emirates National Accreditation System (ENAS) and based on the ISO/IEC17025:2017 Standard on the General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories. FANR’s secondary standards dosimetry laboratory is accredited since December 2018. FANR’s SSDL offers irradiation services to the Dosimetry service providers. The list of these services is available on the website of Emirates National Accreditation System (ENAS).
