The Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR) held its second Customer Council session, reaffirming its commitment to customer excellence and supporting the UAE Government's Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme. The session focused on improving transparency, efficiency, and innovation in FANR's regulatory services.
The meeting brought together representatives from the nuclear and radiation sector, including licensees from industrial, medical, and academic fields. The Customer Council continues to serve as a platform for direct engagement, enabling participants to share insights and recommend ways to simplify procedures and enhance service quality.
FANR presented updates to its smart e-licensing system, highlighting improvements that streamline application processes, reduce turnaround times, and enhance user experience. Participants also joined an interactive workshop to identify opportunities for digital optimization and workflow redesign.
As part of its ongoing Zero Government Bureaucracy efforts, FANR is advancing digital transformation by eliminating redundant steps, modernizing systems, and adopting artificial intelligence solutions. These initiatives aim to strengthen regulatory effectiveness, support licensees, and uphold FANR's mission to protect the public and the environment.
